Dear friends, I am so very excited about the opportunity to release Father on vinyl. ♡

This is a very special record, and a very personal one. Featuring atmospheric synth and string arrangements by Steve Jansen and sublime cello by Raphael Weinroth-Browne, Father speaks of the mysteries of life and death, the intensity of emotion, the beauty and pain of human existence and the everlasting search for meaning.

While working on the record, we used primarily acoustic instruments and a variety of vintage analogue equipment to create a sound that is both powerful and fragile, a unique sonic space where you can go on a journey together with us. I can't imagine a medium more perfect for Father than vinyl, as it can truly reveal all the magic of this album.
